This was undoubtedly the biggest surprise of the route.
I was really looking forward to it because I had heard a lot about this room, but I had no idea of the wonder we were about to experience.
The intro was great, with a wonderful ‘Cinto’ as the master of ceremonies.
At one point, we didn’t know if we were in the game or not, and almost without realizing it, he placed us in the first room, and that’s where it all started.
The beginning was frantic, and we all ran around like headless chickens, but we soon calmed down and went together to enjoy every wonder and piece of evidence that this museum held.
Everything fit into place and the story was a constant hallucination.
We freaked out every time we did something and saw what happened, and just when we thought it was all over, they surprised us with something that blew our minds.
What a wonder!!! We looked like six-year-olds playing in a park!!!
The ending was fantastic, and we had no choice but to clap and keep smiling for a long time because we had enjoyed ourselves like crazy in this little work of art hidden in Tona.
A great post-game chat, where we got to see all the secrets and details of the room, wrapped up a fantastic experience, making it one of the best rooms I’ve ever played.
Everything was created by hand and with a lot of love… What a wonder!!!
You managed to entertain and surprise me almost the whole time, so congratulations and thank you for your work!!! The whole team is incredible!!!
This room is a must-visit on any route in Barcelona.
A WORK OF ART!!!

⭐️ OPINION:
What a wonderful house museum! Without a doubt, we are facing one of those special rooms with its own soul – original like few others – and with an exquisite taste for detail and craftsmanship in its games, which are the main protagonists of this fantastic experience. We started with an intro that was very well interpreted by our personal guide, introducing us to the history and house museum of Josep Fontcalda, an eccentric character who delighted us with his ingenious games. Even without a spectacular setting (which we personally like a lot), the place completely immerses you in history, and we loved it. Be on the lookout for a very fun ending and transition, as well as several games that will mentally reset the way we usually play after so many years, reminding you why you fell in love with Escape Rooms. Congratulations!

We visited the Josep Fontcalda house museum and not only did we learn about all the studies he carried out, but we were also amazed.
They tell you that everything is handmade, but we couldn’t have imagined what they have created.
We had a very immersive intro with the house museum and a GM who was totally in character.
We would like to tell you more about his trials, the course of the game, or the ending, but you have to experience it for yourself and have fun like we did, big time!!!
Last weekend we attended the episode of Escape Room: 1801.
The word that perfectly defines this escape room is joy.
From the beginning, the game master, whom we congratulate from back2escape, introduced us to the guided tour of what could be the best museum in history. His performance was so good that for a moment, we doubted whether we had gone to the wrong place. 🤣
The rustic decoration and attention to detail made us feel like we were in a real museum.
The puzzles were well crafted and easy to follow, making the experience even more enjoyable.
It is clear that this escape room was made with affection and is full of excitement. It was made by and for escape room lovers, AND IT SHOWS!
Despite not being too close to Barcelona, it is an experience that every escape room enthusiast must have! 🥳
The only flaw we see in this escape room is that we are left eagerly wanting to meet a certain person. 🙄🤭
A few weeks ago we were able to enjoy the @1801escaperoom with the cool ones @dirty_bomber y @jonatan.cobano.

🧠💚 F*cking masterpiece
We entered the Casa Museu 🏛️ without knowing much about it, and to our surprise, it was an amazing experience! 🥰
Don’t expect fancy decorations, as the focus is on the puzzles. 🙌🏻
The puzzles are handcrafted and of high quality. Everything is made with care and delicacy, and you won’t find many padlocks (only one, and it’s not obvious). 💡🧩
We were surprised by the tests and had a lot of fun. With each puzzle we solved, we exclaimed “it can’t be!” or “have you seen this?” It was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend it. 🧠💚
Our game master, Toni, did an excellent job managing the game. Afterwards, we had a great chat where he revealed more details about the room. Thanks for making the booking process so easy! 🙏
Parking in the area 🅿️🚗 is paid (blue zone), but it’s easy and cheap compared to Barcelona. You can grab a bite at Plaça Major (50 meters away on foot) or get some carquinyolis at Forn de Pa Puigvendrelló. 🥐🤤
1801 complies with all post-Covid measures. ✔️

What better plan for a Saturday afternoon than visiting a museum? In this case, we visited the house museum of the chemist and mathematician Josep Fontcalda, an illustrious scientist from Tona who died in strange circumstances. We will never know if he managed to find what he was so obsessed with: the fifth element.
🏚️ ENVIRONMENT: The house museum is an impressive place to visit, with its realistic and high-quality exhibits that also contain some surprises.
🅿 TESTS: The room we visited was awarded with the 3rd prize in tests at the recent @escaperoomawards_oficial. The puzzles and challenges were mind-blowing, merging classic elements with the latest technology. We were kept engaged throughout and could not stop playing.
📝 HISTORY: The museum’s story and exhibits were captivating from the moment we entered. Despite museums often being seen as unexciting, this one provided a spectacular immersion from the very beginning.
🗣️ GAME MASTER: Our guide “Cinto” (Toni) was a master of interpretation, making the story feel natural and realistic, worthy of an Oscar. During the game, he knew when and how to assist us, ensuring perfect fluidity.
🔐 EXPERIENCE: The room was made by escapists for escapists, with meticulous attention to every detail. We fell in love with the spectacular immersion and fluid gameplay, making it a true masterpiece.
@1801escaperoom is a must-see for any escapists within a 2,000km radius. Congratulations on the room and thank you for letting us enjoy this hidden gem in Tona.
